RSN carried out a new logistics operation, involving the removal of multiple parts at the Koudia Al Baida Wind Park in Morocco, transportation over more than 3100 km to Dannemare, Denmark, and unloading at the destination.
RSN carried out the removal of multiple wind turbine components at the Koudia Al Baida Wind Park. The total weight was approximately 28,500 kg. For components like the Nacelle, HUB, and Ground Controller, two 40′ Open Top High Cube containers were selected. Meanwhile, for the 6 Blades, two gondola trucks with sufficient length were chosen to accommodate, in each, three blades over 20 m long.
The transfer operation over more than 3100 km was conducted following all the required protocols for an efficient special operation. RSN supervised each stage of the logistics process to ensure its proper execution.
To conclude, RSN unloaded the transported components at the destination: Dannemare, Denmark. Once again, all necessary protocols were followed to ensure a safe operation.
We share below a video compilation of the most relevant moments of the operation and details of the involved parts.
